Hi, Guys. Yesterday, 06/01/2019 Sunday. I was being a part of
One Day National Workshop on Design and Development of Digital Libraries using DSpace conducted by Kerala Library Professionals organization (KELPRO) at model finishing school at trivandrum. It was entirely different workshop that I ever participated. The workshop was meant to teach delegates How to install Dspace on their institution's library how to configure, customize and also built communities, sub communities and collections etc
. Dr. G Santhosh Kumar. Head of department of computer science and Dr. Surendran Cherukkodan, Assistant Librarian of Cochin university of science and technology (CUSAT) were the resource persons. who are full fledged of Dspace as they were simple and humble the delegates could explore maximum on Dspace from them. they had convinced how to install and use it very simply. Most happiest moment was I was assigned to install Dspace on the server mechine and I could do it. It was a proud moment to be a part of that workshop as far as I'm concerned. Thank you Dr. G. Santhosh Kumar sir and Dr. Surendran Cherukkodan sir giving me an opportunity and shows my gratitude towards KELPRO as well.
