Today, I visited St. Joseph's College (Autonomous), Devagiri, Calicut. actually It was not a plan as such, I was being there at Calicut medical college for visiting my relative who was admitted there due to fewer, after visiting her I just came out from the college and was walking to the side of Calicut road. suddenly I saw a bus named Devagiri college that actually recalled the name which I have been hearing from the initial learning of Koha,
Mr. Tomson A. J, The Librarian, Devagiri College, Kozhikode. He is the first person who started implementing, exploring Koha in 2000 itself. He is an active resource person of Koha in Kerala state. He has completed more than 100 Koha training programs as a resource person. When I reached the library, I received a warm welcome from him. and he has shown each facility that he has implemented in the library and had shared his first attempts, experiments, experience on computers, Linux,
Koha, etc. The fact is that I have never ever had direct contact with him before. As he is a person with simplicity he is always ready to help with our doubts. Anyway, I am so thankful to have a nice, resourceful time with him today. He has treated me so good within his time of busy. Thank you, sir.
